Hey Ya’ll. Welcome to Dyxieland:  A Gay/Straight Take on Nothing, where the tea is iced and the sass is sweet. Written by two displaced southerners who willingly joined up with union forces and now live in Iowa; Dyxieland (Dykes-ee-land.) is where they take the time to voice their opinions on what all good Southern Ladies talk about from the front porch: everyone else. So pour yourself a mint julep (It’s after noon somewhere, ya’ll), help yourself to some fried okra, you must be starving, and relax those tired feet.

Chatty Kathy: Hails from the Great State of Texas, but spent a coon's age in New Orleans, Louisiana as a scraped-kneed kiddo. When she's drunk, she still says "ya'll."
